Reflections on the Electrical Section of this Quarter

Well I leaned a ton this past electrical section! I went into this class with no knowledge of electrical systems at all. I still have a long way to go and really want to know more but at least now I have a basic understanding of electrical systems. What really made the difference for me was all the test boards and all the hands on with the OEM test. I am a hands on learner and so I can get confused in the lectures but once I had the meter in my hand it all made sense. I have already used what I've learned a few times at work on the harvesters and it really helps to have a basic understanding of both your meter and electrical systems.

Wiring Projects...

So I'm currently learning how to troubleshoot electrical problems in school and it could be at a better time...my Bronco, brother's truck, and my boat all have some sort of electrical problem right now. Sounds like I will get in plenty of real world practice!

Tomorrows Project...

So I decided to finally get my boat going so i spent some time on it today getting ready to fire it up. However it is acting like a dead battery even though its a new one. So its time to start hunting for some bad connections...should tie in nicely with what I'm learning in school!
